CALL FOR PROGRAMS
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: JANUARY 26, 2018
As part of our ongoing commitment to further campus efforts around diversity and inclusion, we will once again be hosting the annual Day of Discovery & Dialogue. The 2018 event will be centered on the concept of resiliency. As part of the programming efforts, we have created an opportunity for faculty, staff, students and community members to present their research and practice through leading workshops or presenting at a poster session on the afternoon of February 14, 2018.
We are seeking program and poster session proposals, focused on resiliency, in the following four areas:
- SELF: Self-Care and Coping Strategies for Building Resilience in Challenging Times
- ACROSS COMMUNITIES: Building Resilient Community Connections within the University and with the Local Community
- INSTITUTIONAL: Models for Diversity and Inclusion in Education, Training and Programming
- LOCAL → NATIONAL: Critical Issues Impacting the Campus, Local, National and/or International Climate
